Is there a special covid cancellation policy?

You may rebook to a future date up to 31st od December 2020. The value of your current booking will be credited for use on the new trip, subject to availability. If you do not yet know your new travel date at the time of rescheduling, we will hold this credit against your current booking, for when you are able to advise new dates.

If you wish to cancel without rebooking, cancellation fees apply. We have changed our cancellation policy according to traveller's need and made them much friendlier, so you can book with ease.

  • You can rebook your trip 30 days prior to schedule pick up time completly free of charge.
  • If you cancel your booking within 30 to 14 days prior to the schedule pick up time: 10% of the rental price will be deducted and retained.
  • If you cancel within 14 days to 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick up time: 50% of the rental price will be deducted and retained (cancellation fee).
  • If you cancel less than 48h prior to scheduled pick up time: 90% of the rental price will be deducted and retained (no show fee).

 

Can I leave my car at the rental location?

If you let us know in advance, you can leave your personal car at the Nest Campers base station in Celje. 

There is no surcharge for this service, it's free. 

What happens if my flight is delayed or I miss it?

In case the pick-up cannot be made on the booked day due to delays, please contact us as soon as you are aware of the situation.

Days of the booking cannot be refunded. We can help you with organising accommodation and transports if needed, depending on availability and situation. Contact us and we’ll do our best to help!

What is Nest Campers' cancellation policy?

If you wish to cancel without rebooking, cancellation fees apply. We have changed our cancellation policy according to travellers' needs and made them much friendlier, so you can book with ease.

You can reschedule your booking completly free of charge (valid until 31st of December 2022), if you let us know more then 30 days prior to pick up time. 

If you cancel within 30 days to 14 days prior to the scheduled pick up time: 10% of the rental price will be deducted and retained.

If you cancel within 14 days to 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick up time: 50% of the rental price will be deducted and retained.

If you cancel less than 48h prior to the scheduled pick up time: 90% of the rental price will be deducted and retained.

What should I do if I have to cancel my reservation?

In the event you have to cancel your reservation with us, please send us an email, confirming your name and the dates of your booking, using the email registered for the booking.

According to the Terms & Conditions we will proceed with the request and any applicable refunds (see our cancellation policy).

How do I make changes to my booking?

A change in dates, locations, type of campervan or other details will depend on the current availability and must be approved by Nest Campers.
Additional charges may apply.

However, we will always try our best to make our travelers happy, so do not hesitate to contact us directly for individual requests.

How do I pay security deposit?

A security deposit is paid at the time of your pick-up with your credit card - a pre-authorisation is made. This means that a specified amount is temporarily on hold on your bank account. The amount depends on the Insurance Package you’ve chosen.

Security deposit is fully refundable when campervan is returned undamaged.

What does rental price include?
  • VATs
  • insurance for damages caused to other persons involved in a car accident (insurance AO), insurance of the vehicle driver liable for causing of the car accident in case of bodily injury or death (AO plus)
  • 24/7 roadside assistance
  • Slovenian vignette (mandatory toll for highways in Slovenia)
  • green card (necessary international certificate of motor insurance, providing insurance coverage to the extent determined by the competent law in the visited country)
  • fully functional kitchen (stove, sink, water tanks, fridge)
  • gas cartridge (for the stove)
  • unlimited kms
  • portable camping lamp
  • cleaning kit, washline with pegs
  • brochures, travel guides, camping guides and maps
  • frisbee and playing cards
  • welcome package
How can I pay?

A 50% deposit is required at the time of the booking or you can choose to pay the full amount.

Payment can be made by a bank transfer or via secure credit card payment.
If you choose to pay only the deposit, the remaining balance is to be paid in full the latest 14 days prior to your arrival date by a bank transfer. We’ll also send you a reminder email few days before the remaining payment due date.
 

Credit Card
All major credit cards are accepted, Visa or Mastercard. Once you choose credit card payment, you'll be transferred to a secure payment gate to complete your booking. 
American Express Credit Cards are not accepted. 
 

Bank transfer
If you choose bank transfer payment option, we’ll send you all the details you need for a bank transaction. After you receive your reservation confirmation, you have 5 days to transfer the money to our bank account. During this time your campervan is reserved, and confirmed when we receive the payment.

Can I bring my pets on the campervan?

Yes! Nest Campers are pet friendly.

An additional 75€ cleaning fee is added to rental charges.

How many people can drive the campervan?

It depends on the Insurance package you choose.

With the Basic Insurance only one driver is allowed.

If there will be more than one driver, you can choose between Extended Insurance or Premium Insurance option. 

Is there a minimum age to a drive Nest campers?

The minimum age for driving with Nest Campers is 18 years.

If the driver is under 21 years old, Extended Insurance or Premium Inusrance plan is required for the booking.

Is there a minimum hire?

There is no minimum rental period but there are fixed costs for short term rentals (4 days or less)

For bookings that last 4 days or less, handover costs are paid. These fixed costs comprise toilet chemicals, gas, toilet paper, Slovenian vignette and cleaning of the exterior and the interior of the van.

Handover costs are different for specific campervan model: 

  • Cuckoo campervan: 35€ (only for short term rentals, 4 days or less)
  • Stork campervan: 55€ (only for short term rentals, 4 days or less)
What do I need to bring with me?
  • Valid driving licence B category for all drivers 
  • Credit card of the hirer/renter (with enough funds to cover the liability/ security deposit)
  • Passport / I.D.
How does the airport pick-up or drop-off look like?

We make it as comfortable for you as possible.

We’ll take you to your campervan, show you all the details, answer all your questions, go through the contract and security deposit payment, give you our best suggestions, sign the papers and your road trip adventure can start!

Similar scenario for the drop-off. You will bring your campervan to the airport and hand us the keys, we'll check the campervan, return security deposit (if campervan comes back undamaged) and your travel story with Nest Camers will come to an end.

When can I pick up my campervan?

Nest Campers operate 7 days per week, from 09:00 to 18:00.

After-hours pick-ups or drop-off’s requested by the client are subject to an extra fee of 19€ (between 07.00 - 09.00 or 18.00 - 22.00) or 39€ (late night between 22.00 - 7.00).

Where can I pick up my camper?

You can pick up your campervan from our base station in Celje, Slovenia. 
For an extra fee of 50 €, we can arrange a pick-up from Ljubljana city center or Ljubljana airport (Jože Pučnik airport LJU).
